About Rebecca

As a breeder, competitor, and lawyer, Rebecca Pennington understands the wide range of issues that confront participants in the equine industry. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and has received formal mediator training from the American Arbitration Association.

For many years, Ms. Pennington handled complex commercial litigation in the oil and gas, corporate, and professional malpractice areas, while also maintaining a large docket of equine matters.

In addition to her law practice of more than 37 years, for 12 years Ms. Pennington taught law courses at the University of Houston Law Center and served for three years as Director of the Law Center's Trial Advocacy Institute. She was also a moderator for the Houston Bar Association's Moderated Settlement Conference program and has handled matters for the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Association.
